Description of Position
The Technical Consultant is majorly responsible for the client implementations, support and training with respect to the all technical services in the company's solution. He/She is required to master the company's proprietary software and related technology. He/She needs to work closely with the client to gather the technical requirement, analyze the gap with Sophis system, propose the solution and implement it in the new client. He/She needs to analyze the client' existing system and external system and integrate Sophis to client's environment. He/She needs to support existing clients, on site, by telephone or by email. He/She needs to work with R&D and other department to solve and prevent technical issues. Delivering training and providing consultancy activities will also be part of his/her responsibilities. In addition, he/she will do demonstration and run workshop to present the technical benefits to prospects and clients.
Expected Profile
The minimum qualification will be an BEng or BSc (ideally MSc), in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering. You have an interest in finance and financial technologies, 2 to 4 years' experience in operating systems (Windows and Solaris), 1 to 3 years' experience with network installation, management and monitoring. You have Oracle knowledge and experience, development experience in C++/C#/VB and script coding. We also require excellent client relationship skills, a clear and friendly communication style as well as a great presentation. An impeccable standard of spoken and written English is a must to be successful in this international role.
