Treves is looking to hire their Business Development Manager for China.
With a global presence across more than 20 countries and 36
factories, Treves is a worldwide leader in automotive components
(Interior trims and acoustics, seats and components, fabrics).
From a Shanghai HQ and an existing factory in Wuhan, serving the
Peugeot Citroen Group, Honda and Volkswagen group, Treves is
rapidly expanding its presence in China with recent developments
in the Beijing area and the North East .
Main responsibilities for the role :
Reporting to the China General Manager, the China Business
Development Manager will develop and execute a 5 year growth plan
aimed at bringing current Sales up to €300M, through organic
growth, targeted partnerships or acquisitions.
· He / She will lead new business negotiations, both with industrial
Customers or potential Partners or Targets.
· Leveraging his/her industrial background, he/she will lead the
subsequent integration / operation of the partnerships /acquisitions.
· His / Her International perspective, combined with very hands-on
attitude and industrial mindset will enable him/her to deputize for
Treves China GM when needed.
Profile
· Ideally Bi Cultural : Chinese + Western Culture ; fluent English,
Chinese , French a plus
· 5 to 10 years of experience including work experience in China,
negotiation (commercial or financial) experience in industrial context
(preferably automotive)
· BSc, BA, MBA or equivalent required
· Whether originally trained in Finance or engineering, the successful
candidate will have a cross functional approach, enabling him to
leverage all Treves functions, outside of China.
· Strong business acumen, commercial skills and growth focus
· Executive presence & communication skills for external and internal
interactions.
· 50% Travel mainly across China – Position based in Shanghai
Based on the candidate background (Commercial, Manufacturing or
Finance), this position can lead to various BU Management roles, in
China or elsewhere in the world.
